John Stoll See Available Paintings When I was born, the War* was still going on. Now I make pictures. A fundamental element of those pictures is my memories of stories told me by those whose hopes and dream for the culture that influences all of us: imperfect memories, constructed memories, stories of memories and memories of stories. People say I an ability to tap the sub conscious, making picutres that are peculiary accessible to others. I hope so. By and large I'm self-taught... Aren't we all? *WW II
